TechE 0
Recently i get lots of traffic from NT Kernel & System which the ESET will block to some extent i guess.. it's rather disturbing to see it or should i be worried? Looking some advice here.
Administrators Marcos 5,406 Posted February 23, 2019 Administrators Share Posted February 23, 2019 Are you behind a router? Do you have more devices in LAN with IPv6 addresses shown in the screen shot? Did you set your LAN as home/office when detected after installation of ESET Internet Security? The thing is that all ICMPv6 communication is allowed in the trusted zone by default so you might not have marked your network as trusted.
itman 1,786
One possibility here is the router has a problem with DHCP in regards to establishing an IPv6 address lease for your PC. Your ISP appears to keep pinging the router with different IPv6 addresses to verify connectivity. Do a hard reset on your router and then reboot your PC and see if that eliminates the Eset firewall blocked ICMPv6 activity.
