sjf 0
I just starting to tackle creating some Web Control rules and I have a procedural question. Once I have edited a rule, how do I "force" the client PC to download the change so I can test it right away? I've been right-clicking on the client's ESET icon in the systray and clicking "Check for Updates..." but I don't think that does what I'm looking for - which has screwed-up my testing. Also, is there a way to see the Web Control rules somewhere on the client PC? In the program or in a file? Thanks in advance for any help!
Administrators Marcos 5,290 Posted February 20, 2019 Administrators Share Posted February 20, 2019 If you are creating rules directly in the program setup, changes in configuration take effect immediately. If you do it via a policy from within ESMC, you can send a wake-up call to the desired clients to enforce connection to the ESMC server.
