Hi Chabbo, you should not have to adjust most of your settings after initial setup. There is a feature called "Gamer Mode" that turns on automatically when an application enters full screen mode !

 

If you wanted to add extra precaution to your existing configuration; you could always add the game's folder to the list of exclusions for real-time scanning.

 

Open ESET , click F5, drill down through Computer > Antivirus and antispyware > Real-time file system protection > Exclusions
