ESET Endpoint in Win 7 64-bit causing reboot crash

I installed the latest version of Endpoint security on 2 Windows 7 64-bit clients over the weekend.  Both are now experiencing crashes / bugchecks.  I know this is broad, but is there an issue that I should know about?

This is rather broad, as you said. However, we did publish SOLN3070 in response to some customers that are experiencing BSODs with EEA and/or EES installed.  Maybe this article will help, though it is worth noting that the steps in the article represent a temporary solution and are not guaranteed to address your specific issue.

could you please try to install ESET Endpoint Security 5.0.2214.x, you could download it here.

 

With this version we are not aware of any prevalent cause of BSOBs so if you encounter one please provide us with SysInspector log from affected system and full memory dump for analysis.
