How to block communication between two processes over 127.0.0.1 ?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have installed a proxy software to connect the Internet and it establishes a proxy like 127.0.0.1:1080 in system settings. Because some software connects Internet through this proxy, ESET firewall can't block them. How can I better control these connections ?

Thanks.

Does this not also block Eset proxy traffic? That was my experience in the past when I disabled the default rule.

Not sure what you mean by ESET proxy traffic.

Turned on logging on that rule for a while. Whatever I observed in the past in regards to it is not occurring in the current Eset ver.. So ignore my previous comments.
