It means that ekrn.exe is unable to connect to ESET's activation servers.

Are you able to open https://edf.eset.com/edf in a browser? Are you behind a firewall or a proxy server?

I have the same problem too. I've checked that no proxy and firewall is off.

Try running a disk scan with ESET Online Scanner to make sure that no malware is detected. If no malware is found, try to open https://edf.eset.com/edf in a browser and let us know about the result.

I cannot access to the https://edf.eset.com/edf. It shows that the access is denied. I turned off the firewall already.

What about running a scan with ESET Online Scanner? Did it find a threat?

Please provide me with logs gathered by ESET Log Collector.
