Most Valued Members ewong 6 Posted December 17, 2018 Most Valued Members Share Posted December 17, 2018 While debugging my problem with product activation (re: Product Activation w/ task set in ESMC ), I looked at the trace.log file and noticed that while the date is correct, the time isn't. I believe it is using UTC (and not the local time). Can someone point out how to get it to display local time? Thanks Edmund
Administrators Marcos 4,719 Posted December 17, 2018 Administrators Share Posted December 17, 2018 Yes, trace log uses UTC intentionally and it cannot be changed to local time.

ESET Staff MichalJ 430 Posted December 17, 2018 ESET Staff Share Posted December 17, 2018 A lot of customers uses computers in various time zones. Especially in case of troubleshooting of agent / server connections, it is essential to be able to be able to read information in context of the same time. That was the primary reason.
