HSW 9
Hi, I would install ESET over our Kiosk System. Is there a way to open ESET and show the status after installation? Our Kiosk system can run different scripts (VBs, PS, BATCH) or CMD commands directly. When i start the egui.exe with CMD it only opens a new instance. Exists there secret parameters? Other posibility: Is the a way to check for status "reboot need" thx HSW
Administrators Marcos 5,394 Posted November 22, 2018 Administrators Share Posted November 22, 2018 It's not clear what you mean by "ESET status interface". Is it the Protection status window in the gui?

Administrators Marcos 5,394 Posted December 4, 2018 Administrators Share Posted December 4, 2018 Egui should be started via ecmds. During installation the following value is added to the run key: "C:\Program Files\ESET\ESET Security\ecmds.exe" /launch /hide
