jems 4 Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 I have thunderbird on my other PC. Is an eset addon needed in tBird, & if so, how? Thanx. Enjoying the forum - a surf day - been learning a few things. Good forum. thanks. And Tom - your quotes are great.
Daedalus 16 Posted October 30, 2018 Posted October 30, 2018 Thunderbird is not supported. https://support.eset.com/kb2138/
jems 4 Posted October 30, 2018 Author Posted October 30, 2018 Thanks for the info. It (TBird) is on another PC - where i am not currently using EIS. Have to find a mail app supported by eset - i see the list - thanks. A question - is W.10 mail app still a MS thing - i heard once that MS dropped it??

To clarify Eset's e-mail protection will scan incoming and outgoing e-mail for malware. However, Eset's Antispam feature is not functional for T-Bird. You will have to use T-Bird's like feature for that. You should also verify that Eset's Windows root CA store certificate has been installed in T-Bird's corresponding root CA certificate store. jems 4 Posted October 31, 2018 Author Posted October 31, 2018 Thanks. I'm not fussed about the anti spam - not needed. i do not use eis on the pc with TBird. When i do - how do i actually verify eset certificate is installed in TBird.
