Eset Endpoint Antivirus v7 - change language

Since version 7, all language versions are within one installer.

How can I change the installed language? Because Eset is NOT using the windows display language as reference. I cannot change other region settings for Eset...

Hello @Gerhard,

the language can be chosen during the installation.

As far as I know it should use previous language in case of an upgrade or system language in case of clean installation.

If you deploy the product from ESMC, it should reflect the setting of the installation task. If you deploy it using GPO / or other method (pointing towards an URL), there is a command line switch:

PRODUCT_LANG=<LCID>

 

where the <LCID> is a locale ID, as per https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff531906(v=office.12).aspx (see the Language Code column).

Note: It should also accept the more user-friendly BCP 47 code (such as en-US), listed at the same link.
