Most Valued Members Nightowl 206 Posted September 30, 2018 Most Valued Members Share Posted September 30, 2018 That hang might be because of ESET trying to scan the document that you have opened and/or the email, could you please specify how much time is the hang when you try to open? And your HDD is fast or is it slow in general?

That's weird , Did you try to contact the local ESET support through ESET Endpoint?

If you exclude it , ESET will not be able to protect your Outlook as far as I know , it should be the same as like disabling mail scanning because you only use Outlook for your email so excluding it is almost the same as disabling it I will tag @Marcos maybe he could provide you more help than me and the support did provide.
