Arakasi 549
I have recently noticed something weird with SysRescue and would like some clarification. When i'm plugging my usb stick into a desktop, DHCP will successfully configure and i can grab updates. However every single time i use it on a laptop, the update fails. My best guess is it has something to do with the order of network adapters on a desktop, not commonly having wireless, vs a laptop having LAN and wireless adapters. To ESET: is there a way to manage the adapter and internet in SysRescue or do you "have" to preset it prior to building the SysRescue Utility ? It would be nice to have full network resources and adapter configuration settings inside SysRescue to correct the update issues i come across everyday. Like being able to add a driver or similar, which may be the cause of my issues. Best way to fix this would probably be to create a Linux based SysRescue Edited January 6, 2014 by Arakasi
