OverclockEverything 1 Posted September 4, 2018 Share Posted September 4, 2018 I have recently installed a trial version of ESET Internet Security as my BitDefender license is due to expire and I am exploring alternative solutions. After installing ESET I am now unable to access the web interface of my WD Passport Wireless Pro. No error is displayed in the browser and ESET's logs haven't logged any traffic being blocked. I have added its IP address IDS Exceptions and Excluded IP address in protocol filtering to no effect. Even with everything disabled in ESET the web interface is still inaccessible. The only solution I have found that works is to uninstall ESET Internet Security! Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. Like many I've also tried alternatives, but find ESET unique in its flexibility and efficient resource usage compared to the competition. ? The "Troubleshooting Wizard" under SETUP > NETWORK PROTECTION is always a good place to start/look at when trying to resolve network issues ?
