TCS 0
Recently preformed a scan, and something was detected: C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET Smart Security\httpblk.dat - JS/Adware.Agent.AA application The file was cleaned (quarantined). Am i supposed to have a file "httpblk.dat" in C:\ProgramData\ESET\ESET Smart Security\? If I am, I no longer have one because of the cleaning. If I am not , then all is good. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you. My system: Win 7 home premium 64bit Eset internet security ver 11.2.49.
Administrators Marcos 5,407 Posted August 23, 2018 Administrators Share Posted August 23, 2018 It could be because the file is not encrypted. We'll adjust the detection.

But I doubt its a critical file. Appears to contain HTTP/S references to recently Eset detected browser based malware. Since each entry is time stamped, it appears this file is used by Eset for internal reference purposes. Edited August 23, 2018 by itman
