HANDJOJO 11 Posted August 10, 2018 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Dear all, I just wonder that someone have a smartphone with Linux OS can connect to my Home Network with strong password, that indicated in My EIS Home Network Maps, the smartphone Icon appeared with yellow star, and when I checked it several activities were blocked. My question why this smartphone can entrance to my Wifi Router with Password and this smartphone can take over my Home Network if I shutdown the computer (EIS can't monitor it). It does not per se prevent an external device from connecting to it. So your first task is to ensure your Wi-Fi router is properly configured security-wise. HANDJOJO 11 Posted August 12, 2018 Author Share Posted August 12, 2018 Dear All, I didn't using a Router but only modem with Wifi that I already have the strong password. However when I check it in the maps all activity from this phone have blocked. This smartphone came from a technician of my provider when setting up a problem in my connection, probably a technician has turn WPA key in my Modem for him allow to connect it.
