ECP 20031 error even after following Kb6208

hi,

i am trying to activate eset over a network using pfsense as a firewall and with a proxy server. I have selected the option to detect proxy server but an ECP 20031 error appears during activation of the product. I tried to follow the instructions in KB6208(install certificates); yet, upon doing so, ECP 20031 error still appears. 

 

i would gladly appreciate any help that could be provided to me. Thank you very much

Error 20031 means invalid certificate. Most likely MitM is performed to scan https communication. Please make sure to add the appropriate exclusion so that the secure communication with activation servers is not filtered.
