Hello! Eset! Planned feature test 12 version ?

I have idea , for feature .

Please add function :

-Eset search program software and update :

Chrome latest . Skype , K-Lite codeck , and win rar , Mozilla , opera and other . That’s is legally download , and close exploit and CVE day for latest update software . - that’s important function (software update ).

- Add function special Eset Sandbox -that’s is strong prevention(  and analysis sandbox quarantine or block or white , individual function user  )  it is  anti-Ransomware protection , because Eset is not threats and reputation .  It is good  idea , that’s is good block feature strong Ransomware( other Wanna and Grab and other ) with integration miner (white). 

- Add function Individual Anti-Ransomware file protection document and image and other ,  it is protection for encryption. 

Thats important for protect .

Thats important for protect .

Those software is important for you. For me it's not important. Also there is no need to add search of those software because everybody knows the sites for this software. For example skype.com. So what's the problem to just go this sites and find what you need?! Also for example Skype has build in updater and give you a notice if an update is available. Mozilla has the same function, Chome, Opera and many others.

1, If you mean patch management, we don't offer currently any such products.

2, ESET has had advanced heuristics for ages (for almost 20 years if I remember correctly) which runs scanned files in a virtual environment. This enables generation of so-called DNA genes and extraction of various metadata that subsequently serve to create (X)DNA detections which are basically "descriptions" of the malicious operations the file performs and enables ESET to proactively detect a lot malware initially missed by other on-demand/on-access competitive scanners.

3, The Ransomware shield has been in consumer products since v9. What you mean is a basic protection of folders in which only authorized processes (Office applications) can modify files. There are many such applications made for this purpose and Microsoft also provides such a feature. You can achieve this with simple HIPS rules as well. However, this kind of protection is not effective against malware injected in Office processes or script malware that is run by Office applications. The Ransomware shield provides advanced protection and takes into account many aspects, including cloud information, monitoring running processes for suspicious ransowmare-like behavior, etc.

For backup we offer Xopero products who is our partner: https://www.eset.com/int/business/endpoint-security/xopero-backup-recovery/. However, they don't offer a backup solution for home users.

About : Complete Kaspersky  Total Security  and BitDefender , Dr.Web have buckup function.

Why is Eset not buckup  home?

Would you pay an extra fee for including a backup application? I think that most of home users wouldn't. A lot of users still prefer ESET NOD32 Antivirus to ESET Internet Security although it doesn't detect and block botnet communication and doesn't protect from attacks from unpatched computers in the network, not speaking about comparison of ESET Internet Security to ESET Smart Security Premium which has Password Manager and Disk Encryption modules added.

Please add Eset scanner for registry , HLKM ,  and other registry , that’s important scan and clean hight malware (PUp, Adware And other ,). It is important and fix registry, 

Eset is not clean registry and detect other registry .

ESET cleaned malware from the registry since the first version for Windows was introduced years ago and the cleaning has been gradually improved over the years.

Please add biometric face , for used camera and face to go Authentication to go enable Windows , - it is good idea for Windows 10 ,  it is protection for hacker anti- password  and other  . 

Thats is function IOS 11.4 latest operation , biometric authentic  .

Please Add Eset Antibanner  plugin  for ( Chrome, Mozilla And etc) -that’s idea reputation and block reclam . That’s is good idea .

And please add function registry  enable\disable protection for registry    -that’s is  edit for Ransomware\Adware Add HKLM And Other .  Enable protection registry -that’s is don’t edit and add registry , because  virus add registry .
