ESET Micro update for offline computer failed on Endpoint Security v6.6

I have received ESET micro update download email for Endpoint v6.6 since few weeks ago (dll.nup files). I have tested it today, but failed. What I did is

1. Created share folder to store the full update file downloaded from ESET micro update server (For 64bit Endpoint v6.6)

2. Configured ESET Endpoint Security v6.6 to update VSD from share folder

3. Updating failed. Error is Modules update failed. An error occurred while downloding update files

 

However my Endpoint Security v6.3 still working fine with micro update file

Please contact your local customer care to troubleshoot the issue.

However, the fact that EP6.3 can update indicates that you have downloaded files for EP6-EP6.5, not for EP6.6 which uses a different format of update files. If you use both older versions of Endpoint and EP6.6, you'll need to create 2 mirrors.

Hi Marcos, 

I have downlaoded correct micro update file for endpoint v6.6. The file extension is ".dll.nup".
