Tracker308 1
I just checked the active memory allocation on my LG V30 and found that ESET Mobile Security is utilizing nearly 70% of my phones active memory! This is without running any scans and no browser windows are open. I can't imagine that's normal; is there some kind of optimization that should be done to knock that down? Daedalus 16
1. Are there any OS updates available? 2. What happens if you reboot your smartphone? 3. Have you tried re-installing the app? (Uninstall, Clear App cache:https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-214978/, reboot phone, re-install) ----- I have no problems with the ESET Mobile Security app, uses about 40MB of memory. Tracker308 1
Replies: 1 - No, the phone has the latest version of Android. All other apps are updated. 2 - Rebooting makes no difference 3 - I reinstalled the application yesterday and it dropped, but still running at around 90-100MB
Daedalus 16
I am sorry that nothing helps. It was al the things i could think of. I guess you should contact you local support for assistance. Maybe they know a way to troubleshoot this better, like provide logs or something. Good luck. P.S. Maybe some other people can think of something the OP could try...
