Try the usual procedure for re-creating and re-importing the ESET root certificate:

- close all browser and email clients (check the Task manager to make sure they are not running)

- disable SSL scanning and click OK

- enable SSL scanning and click OK

- launch a browser and try to reproduce the problem

I can't run the Eicar test file "This verison of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) verion of the program."

I Have Windows 7 x64

The Web Control is Working fine via http but not https.

Ok, apparently there's no problem with Web control but with SSL scanning. If you run certmgr.msc, is an ESET root certificate listed under Trusted Root Certification Authorities -> Certificates?

I have already solved the problem uncheking "Apply created exceptions based on certificates" under SSL Protocol Checking.
