Administrators Marcos 5,271 Posted December 21, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 21, 2013 Try the usual procedure for re-creating and re-importing the ESET root certificate: - close all browser and email clients (check the Task manager to make sure they are not running) - disable SSL scanning and click OK - enable SSL scanning and click OK - launch a browser and try to reproduce the problem

Administrators Marcos 5,271 Posted January 22, 2014 Administrators Share Posted January 22, 2014 Please check if the SSL scanner is working properly by downloading the Eicar test file from https://secure.eicar.org/eicar_com.zip. Are websites accessed via http blocked fine by Web control?
Ozkr 0
I can't run the Eicar test file "This verison of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) verion of the program." I Have Windows 7 x64 The Web Control is Working fine via http but not https. Administrators Marcos 5,271 Posted January 22, 2014 Administrators Share Posted January 22, 2014 Ok, apparently there's no problem with Web control but with SSL scanning. If you run certmgr.msc, is an ESET root certificate listed under Trusted Root Certification Authorities -> Certificates?
