pps 4
Hello, In the last version of endpoint security 6.6.2078.5 when I click the "pause firewall (allow all traffic) " there is no prompt for admin credentials and I cannot pause the firewall. This issue reproduced in all workstations that I tried (more than 6). "Block all network traffic" button has the same behavior also. Thanks, Peter
Administrators Marcos 5,407 Posted June 14, 2018 Administrators Share Posted June 14, 2018 Couldn't it be that you have enabled the firewall via a policy? Ie. is there a padlock icon next to "Enable firewall" in the advanced setup?
pps 4
Hello Marcos, Yes it is but before 6.6.2078.5 I was able to pause it and the firewall policy hasn't change till 6.6.2052. And I cannot left this setting unlock because then the users will be able to close the firewall on their own.
Administrators Marcos 5,407 Posted June 14, 2018 Administrators Share Posted June 14, 2018 That's how it currently works but it may change in the future. If the firewall is enforced by a policy, you can enter override mode in order to be able to temporarily pause the firewall.
