Rupe 0
I'm trying to debug a web application that I inherited. The site has a login-as feature to allow admins to impersonate users. When I try to exercise the functionality locally to debug an issue, the redirect is blocked with ESET indicating an "HTML/Refresh.BC trojan" threat. How do I work around this? The functionality is not flagged as a threat on the published server instances.
Administrators Marcos 4,694 Posted April 25, 2018 Administrators Share Posted April 25, 2018 Probably you have Level3 Search hijacker on the system and requests to non-existing websites are redirected to Level3 Search. Try using Google DNS servers 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4. See https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/240000/non-existing-urls-redirect-to-searchguide-level-3-in-safari for instance.
