Apache http proxy

Hi,

we plan to upgrade EES v5 to EES v6. but when we do testing on ERA v6 there is no mirror function for distribute update to client.

then we try use apache http proxy to distribute the update to client but when we check the diagnostics log the host is update.eset.com

is it correct? is it update from apache http proxy?

please advise.

Hello,

that should be correct as the http proxy only caches update files downloaded from the update.eset.com.

You may check the proxy log to make sure the caching is working. (note: update.ver - the metadata file should not be cached)

I unable to find the proxy log as you mention. there is only 1 log in program files\Apache HTTP proxy\logs\error.txt

You can list the content of cache using htcacheclean when run with -A and -p%path_to_cache% options as stated at https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/programs/htcacheclean.html
