cast0r 0
Hi. I noticed an odd 'Unprotected WiFi' warning for the first time today. ESET was saying that I my desktop is connected to an unprotected wireless network named 'Kitchen Speaker.o'. That's not a device name I recognize on our network. Where do I start to troubleshoot this? Thanks.
Administrators Marcos 4,931 Posted April 15, 2018 Administrators Share Posted April 15, 2018 I'd suggest to start off with posting a screen shot of both the ESET warning and a list of wifi networks in your neighborhood. Also collect ELC logs as follows and provide them for analysis: - temporarily enable advanced firewall logging under Tools -> Diagnostics - reboot the computer - wait until the warning appears - disable logging - collect logs with ELC. cast0r 0
Sounds good, thanks! I lost the screenshot, but I'll work this first opportunity. BTW, no Alexa in this house!
