ESET and Virtual Machines (VMware)

Hi,

If ESET is installed on host system, will offer protection also on guest system? (for upload /download  and usb memory sticks)

I have had some web alerts on a guest system with ESET on the host.  Have also had alerts regarding PUPs when downloading a file onto a guest from the 'net.

It should basically work with the exception of filtering https websites. SSL/TLS filtering will need to be disabled on the host so as not to break SSL/TLS communication.
