jems 4 Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 i just had a look at some of my tools in EIS. I noticed that under LOG FILES / FIREWALL there has been no activity since 3-3-2018. I have been online quite often since that date. Am i OK, or am i missing something? Thanks.

If you have it set to the default "Automatic" mode, all outbound traffic is allowed unless it is specifically blocked by an existing firewall rule. When the firewall is set to automatic mode, it is normal not to see any firewall log enties. Now if you do have firewall rules that are blocking either inbound and outbound activity; have logging enabled for the rules; and the events are not being logged, make sure the logging severity is set to "Informational." I noticed in ver. 11 that the default "Diagnostic" mode for ask and block rules does not function the same as it did in prior versions.
