ERA Reports

Good evening,

 

I am in the process of creating customised reports with the ERA console and have already created my own report style, aside from the three that come included by default by creating a new folder within C:\Program Files (x86)\ESET\ESET Remote Administrator\Server\templates and adding the report style to the C:\Program Files (x86)\ESET\ESET Remote Administrator\Server\templates\templates.xml file before editing the main.tlp file. I have also customised the HTML and CSS code to match our company branding. 

 

Now however, I would like to product/edit these reports to allow us to publish them to our clients. At present, I have it configured to email the reports over to me, but this email contains a large amount of attachments. See attached screenshot.

 

 

Is there a way to hide these attachments, or present the report in such a way that is more professional?

 

Hope someone is able to provide some insight here.

These attachments are necessary for the HTML to display correctly. Removing them or hiding them is not currently an ability of the Remote Administrator reports.

 

We are looking into improving the Report function of Remote Administrator; however, we do not have a timeline for when any changes will be implemented.

Thank you for replying.  I feel that the Report function of Remote Administrator is an area which has massive potential and could be improved upon two-fold.

 

As discussed, if these reports were far more customisable (I have created my own theme, by editing the CSS and HTML in line with company branding) and had the ability to be compiled in such a way that could easily be presented to our customers/clients, I believe this is an area of the Remote Administrator which would be used more frequently.  One such change would be that the report is perhaps sent out in an email as an image rather than with many attachments.

 

What are your thoughts on this, and do you already have any ideas that you would like feedback on for this area?
