Kanenas 0
is it possible to disable the pause firewall and pause protection options in system tray icon in ESET Endpoint and on firewall setup GUI using ERA Policy? I'm asking because i can't find any options in policies settings. Thanks in advance
Dump Kids 0
Endpoint must be unassign from policy on your server era.
Kanenas 0
You mean, remove the client from ERA server and use it as stand alone client? But i think the point is to administrate all the client together and not each one individually.
Administrators Marcos 5,271 Posted February 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 20, 2018 See https://support.eset.com/kb6382/. It's possible using a Run command task from ERA after configuring Endpoint to accept these commands from ERA.
Kanenas 0
I want to prevent users from access these commands, not to run from console Edited February 20, 2018 by Kanenas
ESET Staff MichalJ 434 Posted February 20, 2018 ESET Staff Share Posted February 20, 2018 If the setting is set via policy, you can’t change them locally. Also, you can secure the installation by password, which will prevent any unauthorized changes.
tmuster2k 22
just set a settings password in the User Interface section of the policy. They may see option but would need to authorize pause via a password for it to go through. Other than that option you could set GUI to Silent mode.
