ESET Insiders cutting_edgetech 25 Posted February 14, 2018 ESET Insiders Share Posted February 14, 2018 I have an Eset Internet Security license for either 4 or 5 PCs that expires tomorrow. I need to renew my License, but I only need it for 3 PCs now. I'm only given a choice to renew for 4 or 5 PCs. What can I do to lower the License count to 3 PCs, and still get the renewal discount? I've run into this a lot in the past, and lost a lot of money by having to purchase another license instead of renewing the License I have. TomFace 539
If you're in the USA, I'd call ESET Sales (see https://www.eset.com/us/about/contact/). Otherwise get in contact with your local ESET office/distributor.

ESET Insiders cutting_edgetech 25 Posted February 16, 2018 Author ESET Insiders Share Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) I renewed my License yesterday, and it still says it's expired today. The license key is the same it was before. I tried using the Activate Product, and Enter License within Eset application itself, and it informed me that the license has expired. When I look online it says the License is good until February 15th of 2019. Is there something else I need to do? Administrators Marcos 5,281 Posted February 16, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 16, 2018 If I remember correctly, the product checks ESET's servers for license details once a day. The license information in the product should update within 24 hours.
ESET Insiders cutting_edgetech 25 Posted February 16, 2018 Author ESET Insiders Share Posted February 16, 2018 It has been almost 24 hours. I will give it a little longer.
ESET Staff MichalJ 434 Posted February 16, 2018 ESET Staff Share Posted February 16, 2018 I will recommend to attempt reactivating your computer. If I do recall correctly, there were issues with the license synchronizations between the systems.
ESET Insiders cutting_edgetech 25 Posted February 16, 2018 Author ESET Insiders Share Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) I already tried clicking on activate product within the Eset Application, and then entering the license key. When I did that it informed me that my license has expired. Is that what you mean? If I log into https://www.eset.com/us/estore/myaccount/ it says my license is good until February 15th 2019, but if I log into Myeset.com it says my License is expired. The License Key it says is expired is the same License Key that I just renewed yesterday. Edited February 16, 2018 by cutting_edgetech
ESET Insiders cutting_edgetech 25 Posted February 16, 2018 Author ESET Insiders Share Posted February 16, 2018 It's been over 24 hours so I called Eset Sales again. They informed me that the license would eventually update in the System. It's never taken this long before. I informed them I would give it until tomorrow, and see if the license has updated in the system by then.
ESET Insiders cutting_edgetech 25 Posted February 18, 2018 Author ESET Insiders Share Posted February 18, 2018 All is good now with my License. I guess it just took a little longer than usual to update in Eset's servers.
