Software Install Task won't start

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I've installed ERA 6.5 onto Windows Server 2012 R2 and I'm trying to deploy the Endpoint Security agent onto 14 machines running Win10 on a small domain.

I've followed the installation instructions from this page - https://support.eset.com/kb5982/

And I've followed these instructions to a tee;  - https://support.eset.com/kb5982/

So I've created the task to deploy the agent and set the targets to the machines which it found in my AD, set the trigger to start ASAP, but none of the tasks have started and are all sitting on 'Planned - Yes' and its been like this for a few hours.

Not sure how to proceed with this one, could someone please point me in the right direction?

Many thanks

I see that this is a software install task, but that one could not be used to deploy ERA agent. ERA agent needs to be deployed separately, as it´s a separate application. For that either a server task, or another deployment method needs to be used.
