forMel 0
I am a new user: How do I transfer firewall and zone settings from one MAC computer to another?
Most Valued Members planet 232 Posted January 19, 2018 Most Valued Members Share Posted January 19, 2018 Hi @forMel, welcome to ESET. You can do this by exporting your Cyber Security Pro settings to a file, and then importing that file to your other Mac. This will also contain your firewall and zone settings. ESET has a Knowledge Base article with more details here: https://support.eset.com/kb3366/?viewlocale=en_US
forMel 0
Thank you for your response. However, my brand new ESET Cyber Security Pro software (ver: 6.5.600.1) does not have any import or export options in the setup window or in the Firewall settings window, as shown in your KB article link. I guess that must be for the Windows versions? Any other ideas or am I missing something?
forMel 0
Sorry... after more reading I found that I had not yet given myself root privileges. After I did, the import/export option appeared. Thank you for your help. Issue resoled.
