"Enable HTTP Protocol Checking" practically disables all non-HTTPS sites

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've just made a fresh Win7 install, added ESET Internet Security 11 (offline installer from your site), then Google Chrome.

And ESET wouldn't allow me to open any site that is not HTTPS, showing 'back to safety' page. Could't sign in to Chrome, Youtube wouldn't show any images, etc etc.

Then I turned off "Enable HTTP Protocol Checking" option and all worked fine, but "Antifishing", "Banking and Payment" protection became unavailable.

Is there a way to fix that?

With http scanning enabled are you unable to open any website regardless of whether it is http or https?

Please enable advanced protocol filtering logging in the advanced setup -> tools -> diagnostics and open an http website. Then disable logging, collect logs with ELC and supply me with the generated archive via a personal message.
