jimwillsher 65
Hi I'm using ERA6.5 and one of the companies I manage has now been sold, so I need to stop managing the clients. The clients are in their own license, but the ERA is shared with other clients. The company owns their license so ideally I want to send some form of client task to the clients to get them to disassociate themselves from the ERA and to remove the protection password. Is that possible? Many thanks. Jim
ESET Staff MichalJ 434 Posted December 22, 2017 ESET Staff Share Posted December 22, 2017 There are few steps you need to do: 1, set a policy with an “empty password”, assign it, wait till it replicates and remove it from the clients. 2, send the task “stop managing, uninstall era agent” to the machine, to “self destruct” the era agents. After that, agents should stop connecting.
