Administrators Marcos 4,720 Posted November 20, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 20, 2013 Do you have the firewall configured to work in interactive mode? As for closing the window, what about clicking on it and pressing Alt+F4?
SweX 871
It looks like a lot of info is missing in that popup Edit: same topic here: https://forum.eset.com/topic/1403-smart-security-7-pops-up-empty-window-that-can-not-be-closed/ Edited November 21, 2013 by SweX
Morisato 8
Hmm guess I found another same issue topic here as well. Glad I saw this one too since Macros didn't bother responding yet to the other thread after my post. I can say though Alt-F4 does close it and then it pops up another outbound traffic which actually has the info on that process it was trying to access before prior to closing it. Does this help with the issue at hand or a possible fix in the future? This has never happened in the previous Eset versions that I have used since the v2 days. At least we have a temporary fix for this ambiguous popup.
Administrators Marcos 4,720 Posted November 21, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 21, 2013 This graphical issue should be fixed in the next service build of v7.
dcmouser 0
It's not fixed -- got it today (windows 7 x64); only way to recover is to restart the system.
Administrators Marcos 4,720 Posted February 11, 2014 Administrators Share Posted February 11, 2014 No service build of v7 has been released since then yet.
