alexandro 0
Hi there. Recently Google introduced a new policy restricting the use of Android Accessibility Services. https://www.xda-developers.com/google-threatening-removal-accessibility-services-play-store/ Please advise, how ESET is going to handle this since ESET's Parental Control solution is based on accessibility service. Will we have our beloved app in google play or will need to install it from other apps market? Thanks, Alex. Most Valued Members planet 232 Posted December 19, 2017 Most Valued Members Share Posted December 19, 2017 There has been some confusion about this -- apparently it's not as strict as it was initially announced, so apps like Lastpass are not affected by this. Also, it has been more than 30 days, and ESET Anti-Theft and Parental Control are still using Accessibility Services as of today. I wouldn't be concerned at the moment, and ESET will notify us of any major changes or announcements regarding their Android apps.
