jimwillsher 65
Hi Sticky post at top saying 6.5.34 has been released. Yet i'm running 6.5.522.0 and ERA reports that it's up to date? Jim
Administrators Marcos 4,923 Posted November 3, 2017 Administrators Share Posted November 3, 2017 V6.5.34 is the version of the ERA release. For the version number of particular ERA components in this release, please refer to https://support.eset.com/kb3690/.
jimwillsher 65
Thanks Marcos, so how do I force it to upgrade? Tomcat in particular is outdated. I've thrown a Component Upgrade task at the ERA and it completed, but Tomcat is still outdated.
Administrators Marcos 4,923 Posted November 3, 2017 Administrators Share Posted November 3, 2017 Please refer to https://help.eset.com/era_install/65/en-US/index.html?upgrading_apache_tomcat.htm.
jimwillsher 65
Thanks Marcos. There's room for improvement on that page. For example, the path to Tomcat is incorrect if you're on a 64-bit system - and who uses 32-bit these days? Also, there needs to be clarity on which Tomcat file to download for Windows, e.g. is it the service, the core, both? Finally, I simply copied the era folder, I didn't redeploy the ERA webapp. It seemed to work and it's much simpler, just copying the folder. ERA now reports 7.0.82. Many thanks Jim
