ALL IN ONE INSTALLER packet install fail

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I created All In One installer for clients via my ERA server and share this packet to clients.

When clients setup this packet, all have alert : Installation failed. This may be a result of malware activity.

But when i downloaded MSI on eset.com, ,my clients can setup this.

Please help me check this. ( my clients not install any AV before).

In what phase is installation interrupted with this error? Before any products installation is started? Or even before initial screen with installer information is shown?

I would recommend to check installer logs located in %temp%\eset\bts\ for any obvious problems. Mentioned directory should contain log of all-in-one installer, and in case installation of bundled products started, theirs installation logs should be located somewhere around.

Hi MartinK,

Update my issue, this issue on ESET ENPOINT SECURITY product, when i created ALL IN ONE for ESET ENPOINT ANTIVIRUS it is ok.

Seems that it failed during AGENT installation. There should be full msiexec log of it located here: C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\eset\liveinstaller_20170926021601_eraa.log. Please check whether it is still available -> I hope it will contain failure reason.

Hey

The error MSI.5008 ?

Please check logs as I recommended. Unfortunately I do not have access to those error descriptions and without logs, there will be only possibility: file support ticket so that respective developers could check what it actually means.
