cosmasad 0
Hello, I have Eset Nod32 Antivirus 7 and I have been getting the following message several times a day: Potentially Unwanted Application: A potentially unwanted application (JS/Mindspark.E) was found in a file on your computer. I hit the Clean button, the same message reappears, I hit the clean button again, and then I get told twice that I need to reboot my computer. This happens probably 10 times a day. There's no way I can keep stopping my work and rebooting my computer. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you.
Carolyn Patricia Beattie 0
I need help with this too as I have exactly the same problem. I purchased Eset Nod32 Antivirus from a 3rd party Computer company and when I asked them about it they recommended I instal a free malware anti bytes programme to correct it - this was unsuccessful. I have done exactly the same as the previous poster and I am fed up with this popping up all the time. Please, can someone help?
Administrators Marcos 5,281 Posted October 14, 2017 Administrators Share Posted October 14, 2017 There's an ongoing topic on this subject at https://forum.eset.com/topic/13073-jsmindsparke/, please continue with the discussion there. Basically you'll need to disable syncing of Chrome extensions as per https://support.eset.com/kb6551.
