rob_svl 0
I am using ESET Remote Administrator Console 5.0.511.0 Under the tab 'Web Control Log' I see the message 'No data in this pane. Check your filter settings or configure the log collecting parameters". I have the Log Collecting Parameters set for Web Control as 'Level 3 - Above + Normal' What am I missing? I would like to be able to view web activity (blocked, and allowed sites if possible). Are there settings on the client or policy that I am missing? Administrators Marcos 4,704 Posted November 6, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 6, 2013 First of all, make sure that Web control integration is enabled (it's disabled by default). Then try to access website from a particular category that is blocked by a Web control rule and check if it's logged in the Web control log on the client. rob_svl 0
I have done that through Policy Manager but the sites are still not blocked. Do I need to push or refresh the policy to the client machine? hxxp://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN3056&locale=en_US The product name on the workstation is ESET Endpoint Antivirus 5.0.2214
ESET Moderators Solution Peter Randziak 946 Posted November 6, 2013 ESET Moderators Solution Share Posted November 6, 2013 Hello Rob, Web control is not part of ESET Endpoint Antivirus, you need to have ESET Endpoint Security in order to use this feature. More info is available here.
rob_svl 0
That's what I figured - I am downloading the Endpoint Security packages right now. Thanks for the assistance.
