ESET REMOTE ADMINISTRATOR CONSOLE

Hi,

 

Currently console version 5.1.34 is running.

3 eset clients are showing last conencted as "one week ago" , but when i go check on individual client and virus signature database is uptodate.

Tried delete client from ERAC Console and its giving error " client not deleted"

I have checked logs and found the following thing

<SESSION_ERROR> CCServiceRoutine(HandleClient): Failed client handling, code: 3

Can anyone please help me with this?

ERA 5.1 is quite old, the latest is v5.3.39 when speaking about the old ERA v5. However, we strongly recommend to start using ERA v6 and installing Endpoint v6.5 on clients. Endpoint 6.6 is about to be released soon and will contain further enhancements and fixes.

Hi Marcos,

Actually i am having problem wiht only 3 clients.

So is there any way to fix without upgrading to latest version at the moment?

Also may i know what is causing this ?

I have no clue what could be causing it. You should at least upgrade to the latest ERA v5.3 which has fixed many issues. Without having the latest ERA, clients may also stop updating if they update from a mirror created by ERA.

Can you please provide instructions/references links on how to upgrade ERA from v5.1 to v5.3

Just download the lates server / console "msi" installers ans run them over the old ones. It's the simplest way how to upgrade ERA 5.x.
