Hello Micha,

that is strange, first time I hear of such issue.

Can you please take a Process monitor log from the boot time and collect ESET Log collector so we can investigate it?

Once you have them please upload them to a safe location and send me a private message.

Regards, P.R.

Hallo Peter,

after a new Restart the ESS doesnt work.

More Restarts do not change the problem.

Than i use the repair-function of ESS and one restart more all works fine. No more errors.

I have fixed the issue by downloading the latest version again, doing a complete uninstall, rebooting and doing a fresh install and reactivating the software.

Just testing now but I'm not getting the same errors as before. In the boot logs from Procmon I saw some names not found errors of files and this lead me to beieve my original install had become corrupted which does seem to have been the case.

Then please provide me with the two logs as requested above.

It appears that both logs were created when unregistering callouts from BFE. Ie. I assume you inadvertently ran "EpfwWfpRegV10.1.2.exe /unreg > reg.txt" instead of  "EpfwWfpRegV10.1.2.exe /reg > reg.txt".

1. Extract the RAR to c:/eset_tool/
2. open the startmenue an type "cmd" <= without "
3. right click to console an use "run as administrator"
4. type "cd\" <= without "
5. type "cd eset_tool" <= without "
6. type the command "EpfwWfpRegV10.1.2.exe /unreg > unreg.txt " <= without "
7. type the command "EpfwWfpRegV10.1.2.exe /reg > reg.txt" <= without "
