Arismac 0
Hi. Though eset software does not find any virus/malware in my system, i noticed a strange behavior in chrome. Therefore i used adwcleaner and zemana and they always find yessearch entries each and everytime. They seem impossible to remove and eset does not detect them. Any ideas? itman 1,746
First a note on how stuff like this gets installed: YesSearches.com is a browser hijacker, which is promoted via other free downloads, and once installed it will change your browser homepage and default search engine to hxxp://www.yessearches.com/. Ref.: https://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-yessearches-com/ Do the following. Open Eset GUI. Click on "Setup." Click on wheel symbol for "Real-time file system protection." - then "Configure." Click on "ANTIVIRUS" in top left hand screen area. Ensure all settings highlighted in the below screen shot are enabled. Save your setting changes. Then run an antivirus scan. Eset might or might not detect browser highjacker, but will prevent it from occurring again.

Run an Eset custom scan of your boot drive in admin mode and see if anything is detected.
