I installed windows update : KB4022716 on my laptop yesterday(28/06/2017) and post the update ESET internet security is showing "Webcam protection is non-functional" error. I restarted the PC but still the problem was not solved.

Kindly help to resolve the issue. I have attached the ESET logs as well.

I've same problem, but i don't find any solution for this!

I couldn't find the solution myself. But, what i did was I reinstalled the ESET internet security. That fixed my problem.

So, uninstall the current Eset that you have, download the installer and install again.

Thanks @ujjawalgk , it's worked. Apparently this is the only way!

I have exactly the same problem. Uninstalling and reinstalling ESET Internet Security did not solve the problem.

Its better if you post this as a separate discussion. In this thread no ESET admin has provided any solution.

My issue got resolved by reinstalling. Maybe there might be multiple issues in your case.

To enable webcam security follow these steps.

1. Open Device manager in windows

2. Then go to Imaging device and then disable the camera

3. After that open ESET antivirus --> setup --> computer protection --> webcam security, enable it. It shall be enabled.

4. Then again go to device manager in windows and enable webcam. (Important!!!)

Voila!

Your webcam security is enabled.
