ESET Staff MichalJ 434 Posted June 30, 2017 ESET Staff Share Posted June 30, 2017 It´s being discussed as of now. Currently, you can use "run command" taks, and command line parameters to pause the protection remotely and re-enable it. Time-based pausing, using temporary policies is in the backlog, however currently I could not confirm, whether it will be done or not.
Administrators Marcos 5,257 Posted July 1, 2017 Administrators Share Posted July 1, 2017 Please provide more information about the use case. Why do you need to temporarily disable even email protection remotely? There's a security risk as malware might infect the computer while protection is disabled. Re-enabling protection should also trigger a full disk scan to ensure that no malware is found in memory or on the disk.
