Update task frequency not changed after editing scheduler

In Mail Security for IBM Domino i edited the "Regular automitc update" task so it wil run every 15 minutes instead the default of once a hour. After saving the task it runs smootly every 15 minutes, but in the log of our firewall i only see that once a hour the update servers of ESET are contacted. Somewhere on an other section of the forum i read something about a timeout of 50 minutes when the update task has run before it actual does a new update.

Is this correct? and if not is there a way to change the frequency?

The minimum update interval is 60 minutes for update from ESET's servers and 5 minutes from a mirror.
