Ionut 0
Hi all, I have an issue with the "Device is missing" button. My phone was stolen this morning, and the "Device is missing" button does not work. Not even the "Run a test" button does not work. I have tried on Google, Internet Explorer, and MS Edge. Please Help. Best, Ionut
ESET Moderators foneil 342 Posted June 13, 2017 ESET Moderators Share Posted June 13, 2017 What happens when you click it? Sometimes it takes a few minutes to "go through", is this what you see? http://support.eset.com/kb3158/#stolen
Ionut 0
I see what is shown in step 1. When I click it, nothing happens. It is like I am clicking on nothing. It is like the button does not exist.
ESET Moderators foneil 342 Posted June 13, 2017 ESET Moderators Share Posted June 13, 2017 just ran test, and it worked fine (I know, not what you want to hear). Can you try it on another computer altogether? Perhaps some security setting or something being blocked on all browsers...or other system unknown issues. If still not working, contact your local partner for support http://support.eset.com/kb3742/
Ionut 0
I will try. BTW, thanks for the quick response.
Ionut 0
It doesn't work. I have tried on other devices to click on the button, and nothing. The buttons seem to be disabled.
ESET Moderators foneil 342 Posted June 13, 2017 ESET Moderators Share Posted June 13, 2017 The only time I see the buttons not working, is when the license is expired, but you will see a big red warning "This license is expired" on that screen, and even then, it still sometimes works. I recommend contacting support via kb3742 instructions.
