Windows Firewall is on

Why is Win7 Firewall on?

I just installed Eset 10 and even if Eset says it is controlling the firewall, it is on if I go to controlpanel-firewall and advanced settings.

Is that normal? Should I go to propites and change it to off?

Don't turn it off. It is the Windows Firewall service that is running, and that should not be turned off.
