web control not block

Hi Team,

Web control Endpoint security v6.5 not block category or Group categories.

only  block url-based Action.

Any ideas?

This happens if there's a problem receiving DNS TXT responses. Some routers are known to have issues with this. A Wireshark log with the network communication captured would shed more light.

Deactivate Ethernet and enable wifi with DNS google it work.

Hey you can tested web control, this is a possible bug.

Problems receiving DNS TXT responses are not a bug in ESET's products.

issues DNS TXT responses in 3 clients? different operating system, different networks.

If setting the DNS server to Google DNS 8.8.8.8 or 4.4.4.4 helps, it's most likely a problem with the router.

I had a similiar problem, you added your internal Network to the trustworthy zones?

In my case this was the Problem, some clients dont reach the internal DNS server.

The Problem - internal DNS server dont reach the ESET's server e5.sk.
