windows smart screen

Recommended Posts

SmartScreen has been part of IE for years. It is also turned on by default in Edge. I am not a big fan of the "native" SmartScreen protection in Win 10, which is separate and distinct from any like browser protection feature, since its a major Win telemetry harvester.

Bottom line - zip issues with SmartScreen and Eset.

Smartscreen filter launches as a seperate process when you load edge on the newer build of windows 10. As long as you allow it via ESET's firewall its 100% compatible :)
