FredW 1
Pause protection can be found as follows: - Open Eset NOD32 Antivirus 10 - Setup - Computer Protection - Real-time file system protection - switch button to left and you can make your choice. It is still there, but a little bit more hidden.

Super_Spartan 56
Anyone from the ESET team care to reply to this concern? This is very annoying it takes so many steps to disable protection temporarily. I update my drivers a lot and prefer to have my AV disabled while I am installing the new driver to ensure 100% proper installation!

At first I thought the same Phoenix but now I've tried it a few times it makes sense to hide the option away. It was too easy before to disable protection. coch 5
The point is for it to be easy. Users that need to disable protection will disable it regardless, and it's just a PITA to have to jump through hoops to do so. I personally hate having to do two mouse clicks when one would be enough. In this case it's at least 5 or 6 mouse clicks more than it used to be. ram1220 3
I have the latest Eset Nod 32 antivirus installed on my Win 10 Pro computer and I still have the pause protection option. I just right click on my icon in my taskbar and it's right there. Left click on pause protection and a pop up comes up and asks me how long I want to disable protection. I upgraded from version 9 and did not do clean install of 10. Just an in place upgrade from version 9. Not sure why so many people are not seeing the option. DrTeeth 5
@ ram1220 You do not have the latest version then. When it was a right-click away, I'm sure people did not do it accidentally. I have just stubled across it and I would like it back as a right-click please...NOW ;-). DrT
